Eggroll In a Bowl

This is a classic for anyone in the low carb/keto space! Its sweet and spicy with just the right crunch! You can add or take away cabbage and other veggies as you see fit!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1lb ground turkey (or beef but remember to adjust macros)

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1 small onion

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp ground ginger

  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos

  • 12oz purple cabbage

  • 2oz shredded carrots

RECIPE STEPS:

  1. Brown meat in a pan with butter

  2. Add in onions, ginger and vinegar. Sauté until onions are tender

  3. Add the rest of your ingredients, turn heat to medium and cook until cabbage is tender (about 10 minutes)

NOTE: feel free to make a spicy mayo sauce to add on top and up the fat!
