LISTEN, LEARN & GROW

Podcasts are more than just great ways to pass the time when you’re commuting or doing cardio. They can be fantastic tools to use on your ketogenic journey and may have benefits you haven’t considered. I found this great article that was eye opening to me, and I do a podcast! Click here to check it out.

This week I wanted to share five podcasts that are specifically helpful if you are following a ketogenic diet and a few that are helpful to all of us on health journeys. Coach Jon & I have actually appeared on several of these shows too, which speaks to the respect we have for their information and the people that produce them. Click the titles to check them out!

The Fit and Fabulous Podcast with Jaime Seeman, M.D.

Up first is the Fit & Fabulous Podcast from Doctor Jaime Seeman. Jaime is a passionate advocate for overall health, the benefits of the ketogenic lifestyle, and as an ob gyn the health of women specifically. Her podcast description starts with “Those that don’t have time for wellness will eventually have to make time for illness” and this speaks to her passion for optimizing your health right now.

The Keto Savage Podcast

Robert Sikes aka the Keto Savage is a passionate podcaster for sure diving not only into his “home base” of the ketogenic diet, but also bodybuilding, health in general, and specific ways to take your performance to the next level.

Keto Kamp with Ben Azadi

Ben Azadi is best described as the Tasmanian Devil of the ketogenic community. He is a whirlwind of energy that tackles topics on his show with unbridled passion. The description states “Discover how to cut through all the noise in the health and nutrition space so you can finally get the results you want, and keep them.” He brings a voice of authority that cuts through a lot of that noise!

Food Freedom with Mary Roberts

Mary Roberts has devoted her life to helping others that struggle with food addiction in finding their way to what she calls, food freedom, hence the name of her show! Her show focuses on the topics of addiction recovery from the perspective of a recovered addict. She brings personal experience to this very personal topic. She is no nonsense and direct which is certainly needed when addressing these topics!

Nutrition with Judy

If you are looking for a podcast that focuses on the benefits, challenges and latest information about a carnivore aka meat based diet, this is the show for you! Jody Cho, author of the Carnivore Cure, shares not only her experience from working with thousands of clients but also the leading experts in this area. You will walk away informed but also armed with tips and actions!

I’d be remiss if I didn’t also remind you that each member of our team has a podcast we would love for you to check out!

The Road Podcast

This is Coach Jon’s podcast that not only focuses on nutrition and physical health, but takes a truly holistic approach including mental and spiritual health as well. This spring he completed a series that focused on women’s health and has more recently approached the psychology of food.

The Fat Guy Forum

This one is mine and is definitely not a keto focused show per se but instead is a platform for sharing the stories of men on all stages of a health and fitness journey. The guests will use a variety of tools to achieve their goals but the commonality of experience when it comes to the importance of mindfulness and consistency shines through, useful lessons for all men and women alike!
