OVEN ROASTED BRISKET

Put a little Texas in your kitchen! This brisket is next level good and you don’t even need to step outside to make it! Wow your guests at your next event or prep yourself a fantastic few weeks of meat!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 14-16lb brisket

  • 1/2 cup mustard

  • 1 TBS liquid smoke

  • 1 cup granulated salt

  • 1 cup black pepper

RECIPE STEPS:

  1. Pre heat oven to 250’F

  2. Mix mustard and liquid smoke. Lather brisket in mixture

  3. Mix salt and pepper and apply generously covering all of the brisket. Feel free to give it a good shake and let the excess fall.

  4. Place brisket in the oven on a prepared baking sheet for 5 hours

  5. Pull brisket out and wrap in parchment paper or butcher paper

  6. Place back in for 5 hours or until the brisket reaches a temp of 210

  7. Let rest for 30-45 mins

  8. Slice and serve
