BEEF STUFFED CHICKEN

Weird recipe? Yes. Delicious? ABSOLUTELY! This is definitely a hearty, meaty main dish!.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lb whole chicken

  • 12oz ground beef

  • 1/2 cup mushrooms

  • 4 TBS of butter



Beef seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp sage



Chicken seasoning

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

RECIPE STEPS:

  1. Chop up mushrooms and cook down in pan on medium low

  2. Mix mushrooms, beef seasoning and beef together. Set aside

  3. Debone the chicken. I leave the legs and wings bone in but this video attached will show it all: Click Here!

  4. Put the beef mixture in the chest cavity of chicken. Twine the chicken together. If you can not twine, then simple fold the skin over and put it breast side up in a pan to hold it down.

  5. Take butter and spread it evenly under chicken skin. Mix chicken seasoning and cover chicken skin well.

  6. Bake at 375 for 60 mins or until chicken hits an internal temp of 165.
