MAYO BURGERS
Lean ground beef can certainly bump up your protein intake but it can also be dry and not that tasty when you grill it up. This recipe not only makes a super moist burger but they reheat great, which is a flaw of most burger patties. This is a great meal prep option to keep on hand!
INGREDIENTS:
16oz Ground Beef 90/10
8 tablespoons avocado oil mayo
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Any desired additional seasonings like chili powder, garlic, etc.
RECIPE STEPS:
Mix all ingredients until the mayo is well incorporated. Mixture will be most and feel loser than usual ground beef.
Shape into four equal patties.
Pan sear the patties in a medium hot skillet (no added fat needed if non stick or cast iron!) for 3-5 minutes on the first side.
Flip burgers, without pressing down on them, and cook an additional 3-5 minutes.
Do not waste any of the rendered fat in the pan, pour over your burgers or add to a side vegetable like mixed greens or roasted broccoli.
Enjoy!
